Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy helps children increase their independence with their daily “jobs”. This includes tasks related to self-care skills, fine motor skills, sensory regulation, coordination, feeding and social skills. Diagnoses or conditions that an OT might treat include:
- Sensory Processing Disorders
- Autism
- ADHD
- Down Syndrome
- Stroke
- Brain Injury
- Cerebral Palsy
- Dyspraxia and motor incoordination
- Feeding/Eating difficulties
- Handwriting difficulties
- Fine motor Delays
- Visual Motor delays
- Poor social skills
